41: Marketing Mayhem with Hannah Moushabeck

3/23/2020

My guest this week is Hannah Moushabeck, a book marketing wizard from Quarto Books with a life-long history in the book industry. Hannah and I chat about ways for you to get the word out about your book, and what your publisher is doing, as well as social media 101, and so much more.

PLEASE NOTE:
This episode was recorded several weeks ago, in the Before-Time when we still had lively bookstores and libraries. Much of the valuable info herein will still apply, but some of it, well.... bear it in mind for when the "shelter-in-place" orders lift. I'll be updating with "Corona-Time" info as I have it.

This is most helpful. Very many thanks to you both. I've made copious notes at the ready.

Yikes! I didn't realise the Bahamas' library/libraries were so reliant on donations. That's sad. It's a shame our overseas postage on books from Australia is so expensive, and there are no copies of my last book on Amazon or eBay.

By listening to each episode of the podcast I gather so much information about the business of publication. Thanks Jennifer!
